A Bit About Me
• With over 20 years of experience as an automotive technician and supervisor, I have honed my skills in problem-solving complex mechanical and electrical systems. My passion for Information Security and DevOps has driven me to transition into cybersecurity. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Security Programming at DeVry University.
• I hold several industry certifications, including CompTIA Network+, and actively participate in the National Cyber League competitions for the DeVry University Cyber Security Club.
• As a Security Engineer and Network Administrator at Holy Moley Farms LLC, I provided comprehensive security monitoring, intrusion detection, and incident response capabilities for HMF networks. I handled security events, developed alerts, analyzed logs, and participated in emergency response activities. My knowledge extends to local and wide-area networking concepts, TCP/IP and OSI models, IT security processes, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. I stay informed about the latest security and privacy legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts, exploits, and vulnerabilities.
• Beyond my professional and academic pursuits, I am a proud father of three wonderful children and am fortunate to have an amazing wife who supports me through my educational journey.
